Banyan is growing rapidly and seeking a Director of Partnerships to build, develop and execute a strategic partnership strategy to drive revenue and expand market reach. The Director of Partnerships will play a pivotal role in expanding Banyan's impact, driving revenue, and creating long-term value through strategic alliances. This role reports to the VP of Sales and operates on a hybrid basis from our San Francisco office with the flexibility to travel to meet our customers wherever they may be. We will prioritize candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area who are able to come into the office regularly.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy including go to market plans, ICP targets, execution playbooks, negotiation of terms, onboarding and ongoing management of partnerships channels
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize industry leading strategic partners that align with our business objectives, values and drive revenue growth
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders across potential partners to secure high-impact, revenue-generating alliances. Negotiate and close deals that create value for Banyan and its partners.
  • Drive revenue growth through partner-led sales, activation of non traditional resellers and co-marketing initiatives
  • Leverage strategic partnerships to expand our market presence and reach new customer segments spanning financial institutions, sustainable infrastructure investors, green lenders, infrastructure developers, and technology providers to expand the platform’s supporting ecosystem.
  • Build a partner roadmap to ensure alignment of channel strategies with product management, marketing, sales, and engineering teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement joint go-to-market strategies with partners
  • Track the success of partnerships through key metrics such as revenue contribution, deal flow, customer acquisition, and satisfaction. Provide regular updates to executive leadership on partnership performance and opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building relationships and promoting our brand.

What you’ll need:

  • 8+ years of experience in a strategic partnerships, channel sales, business development or related revenue generating functions in an emerging technology industry
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing successful partnerships for B2B Enterprise SaaS products, particularly within renewable energy & climate ecosystem
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion through strategic partnerships
  • Experience working in a fast paced ever changing start-up environment. With a preference in the renewable energy, renewable project finance or climate tech sector
  • Embody creativity, curiosity & grit
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels from individuals contributors to C Suite
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills to drive revenue
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
  • Passion for Banyan's team, market, product, or mission

Compensation $200,000 - $300,000 OTE On Target Earnings comprised of base salary and variable commission plan) unlimited upside potential
